Over the years, I have formed close personal relationships with a number of younger students in my community. However, of the various students I've mentored, I have found my relationship with Weston most exceptional. Through our friendship, I have been involved greatly in his development and have had the opportunity to serve as a positive influence in his life.  

During our time together, I/we have:

• Attended Rangers games together

• Gone rock climbing, to the park, seen movies, painted/constructed art projects

• Visited each other on Holidays 

• Supported and encouraged each other at sports events 

• 2x Top Gun Senior Scholarship Winner: $5,000 

• European Touring Team Alternate

As Captain, I: 

• Won the Melissa High School Winter Cardinal Classic in Lincoln Douglas

• Organize student participation in tournaments, both weekend and weekday, creates opportunities for young public speakers (such as showcases). 

• Regularly compete within UIL debate circuits.

As President, I:

• Lead efforts for Spanish-speaking students to exercise their interest in Hispanic culture through volunteer opportunities and multi-cultural events

• FCCLA Collin County Youth Show First Place Winner

• FCCLA Collin County Youth Show Grand Prize Winner

• Texas Art Education Association Junior VASE Medalist
